Maintaining your oral care.
Prevention is always better than a cure.
Our dental therapists are professional, highly-trained dental practitioners who focus on disease prevention, through clinical intervention and education.
At an appointment with the dental therapists a thorough assessment of your oral hygiene routine will be conducted. This will include a review of brushing habits and the type of toothbrush, toothpaste and other cleaning aids you are using. During these appointments the hygienist will be able to perform a dietary analysis and discuss the importance and relevance of diet and its relationship to oral health.
If your gums are healthy and stable, your therapist will give your teeth a scale and clean to remove all the plaque and calculus on your teeth.
Your dental therapist has a referral and consultative relationship with the dentists to ensure that your oral care is managed by the right person.
